1. If God is not a Trinity; How Do You Explain the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?
- Jehovah (God) -- an uncreated spirit being who exerts tremendous force throughout the universe, the Creator, Heavenly Father, and Only Almighty God in heaven. Compare Isa 40:25 with Php 2:6 and 1 Co 11:3
- The Holy Spirit (God's Active Force aka God's finger) -- an uncreated and extremely powerful impersonal active force which is from Jehovah. A controlled force that Jehovah God uses to accomplish a variety of his purposes e.g., creation, the Bible.86 Lu 11:20; Ex 8:19
- Jesus (God's Son) -- a created spirit being who came down from heaven and took on human form to save the human race, Jehovah’s Only-begotten Son, and one of those called gods in heaven.
The Holy Spirit is not God's "Power."87 "Power" might be likened to the energy stored in a battery, while "force" could be compared to the electric current flowing from such battery.88 There is an inherent connection between "power" and "force" yet a definite distinction.89 "Force" more accurately represents the sense of the Hebrew and Greek terms as relating to God's spirit, and this is borne out by a consideration of Scriptures. 90 When God's active force becomes operative upon his servants they are able to: expel demons; raise the dead; speak in different languages that were previously unknown to them; feed thousands with a few loaves of bread and fishes; make one man so strong he is able to kill a thousand men with the jaw bone of an ox. (Mt 12:28; Lu 11:20) Where a human craftsman would use his hand and fingers to produce things, God uses his spirit.91 Hence the spirit is also spoken of as God’s “hand” or “fingers”.92 It was Jehovah’s active force that was moving to and fro over the surface of the water. Gen 1: 2b
Christians often say: “May God’s spirit be upon You” it is the same as saying “May God’s active force be upon you or may the finger of God or hand of God be upon You”
2. If Jesus is not Almighty God, then what kind of a god is he?
A mighty god or a godlike one. Angels are godlike ones and are called gods because they are mighty ones possessing divine nature (godlike nature). Angels are superhuman in power. 93 Jehovah God exalted Jesus to a superior position. Thus Jesus, also known as Michael the Archangel holds a superior position among the other godlike ones (angels). His pre-eminent position among God's creation as firstborn the one through whom God created all things, and as God's spokesman gives basis for his being called "a god" or mighty one.94 Satan is called a god at 2 Co 4:4 because of his dominance over men and demons so with greater reason and propriety is God's firstborn Son called "a god" "the only-begotten god".95
If there were more than one Almighty God Persons in heaven then Almighty God would be common, not unique.
The Trinity is an example of debasing idolatry. It is degrading to Almighty God to call anyone his equal, and even worse to call Mary the "Mother of God." 96
Noteworthy Differences between the God of Jehovah's Witnesses and the God of Trinitarians
JWs: Jehovah God---------[-------Jesus --- Angels ------------]-----Humans.

2a. Jehovah's Witnesses believe Jesus is not the true God but he is a god. Does that mean Jesus is a false god because if he is not the true God then he must be false?
Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe Jesus is the true God but neither do they believe he is a false god. The idea that if something is not true then it must be false is misleading. Jehovah's Witnesses believe if Jesus was worship as God then he would be a false god.
Jesus is called a god because: he acts as God's spokesman, he is superhuman in power in his spirit form, and it was through Jesus his firstborn Son that God created all (other) things. Because these are the reasons he is called a god and he is NOT worshiped as god, then Jesus is not a false god. Is Jesus a false spokesman, a false god? No! False gods are those that are worshiped by people as gods and they are NOT the true God.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe All Trinitarians as well as Binitarians worship an angel, the Archangel Michael (aka Jesus), as the 2nd person in the Godhead. The worship of an angel as a god (idol god), or as God (creator) is a sin. It is idolatry._ Col 2:18
3. What Separates Wheat (True Christians) from Weeds (counterfeit Christians)?
Righteous Works. True Christians practice righteous works motivated by:
- Written Law- they take delight in the “law of God”97 And though the “New Covenant” is not written in code form (as the “Law Covenant” which ended on Pentecost 33 C.E.), it is full of laws, commands, and decrees that the Christian is bound to observe.98___ Matt 19:16,17
- Faith- they show their faith by their works.99 __ Jas 2:17, 18, 26; Eccl 12:13,14
- Love of God – move them to godly action.100__ 1Joh 5:3; Deut 5:29
Works That Saves (works that is involved in rendering sacred service to God or draw us closer to God- Weightier Matters, Binding to Do) when accompanied by faith.
- Disciple-making work—you save yourself and those who listen to you __1 Tim 4:16; Eze 3:17-19
- Works that befit repentance (Acts 26:20)—from

-works of the flesh..the minding of the flesh means death __Gal

5:19-21; Eph 5:3-14

-dead works (e.g. works apart from true faith; works

placed ahead of spiritual goals)

-wicked works (e.g anti-Christ teachings)__2 Jo:9-11
- Attending religious service, prayer, etc.
- Respect for God and his Son thru works of obedience to their commands _ Joh 9:4; Joh 3:36; James 1:22,23
- Baptism- "That which correponds to this is ALSO now SAVING YOU, namely, baptism." Baptism into the true faith [which teaches right from wrong and to do God’s will] is a request made to God for a good conscience which saves; bapism it is a symbol of one’s dedication to God on the basis of faith in the resurrected Christ_1 Pet 3:21; Acts 10:34,35
- Ministering to the Holy Ones- it is the responsibility of Christians to render material assistance and other kindnesses whenever possible to those of their brothers who are experiencing suffering and persecution. 101 [Heb 6:10; Mat 25:35-40; Heb 2:11] Charity begins at home.
- Faithfulness, Justice, Mercy ___ Mat 23:23
Works That Cannot Save
- Expelling demons - even those under demonic influence are able to cast out demons [e.g. spirit mediums, apostates]. It is so Satan will appear as an angel of light. Imitation Christians, the ones who claim to expel demons in Jesus’ name also dabble in spiritism e.g, Halloween, Necromancy.
- Baptism – into false religions and infant baptism
- Prophesying falsely in Jesus’ name- [ e.g., doctrine of demons, commands of men, claims of new prophesy]
- Speaking in tongues; Tithing ; Sabbath Keeping; Sacraments; Fasting
- Humanitarian works to the world.- It is not the responsibility of Christians to feed the hungry of the world it is the responsibility of their respective governments. It is up to each individual to decide if they can assist and how much they can assist.
- Seemingly powerful works- [e.g. claims of curing disease/sickness in Jesus name
4. If Salvation Cannot be EARNED Why is it Still Dependant on Our Behavior?
It is true, salvation is not EARNED so it is "due us". Salvation is by GRACE through FAITH. However in order for GRACE-God's underserved kindness - to work on our behalf we must love God, have a Christlike personality [possess good Christian qualities], and remain in Christ teachings in order to receive it. Salvation is not by GRACE alone it is also dependent on Faith [which must be accompanied by righteous works that demonstrate our faith and love for God].
There is an old saying: action speaks louder than words. Christians who have a good love for God will do their utmost to obey his commands and not make him feel the way the ungodly and the sinners make him feel, regrets he has made them. (Gen 6:5, 6) The condition attach to salvation is used to sift out undesirable ones such as murderers, thieves, pagans, pago-Christians, adulterers, idolaters, drunkards, liars, fornicators and the likes from receiving it; and produces the sort of individuals God is pleased to give his free gift of salvation- righteous, God-fearing individuals. One must change one’s life to conform to God’s way. God will not give his free gift to individuals he considers detestable and disobedient, individuals who publicly declare they know him but disown him by their works._Tit 1:16
5. Why Do Jehovah's Witnesses go From House to House?
They are making use of the apostolic method of preaching found at Acts 20:20 in carrying out the Great Commission found at Mt 24:14. Their preaching work is a separating work [separating earth's inhabitants into sheep and goats] marking people for survival (Eze 9:1-6) Those marked for survival are dedicated, baptized, have a Christlike personality, and are doing God's Will [fear God and work righteousness].104 Doing God's will includes the great commission._ Eze 3:17-19
6. Why Is Obedience so Important to Jehovah God?
Because it is the one thing He does not own. God owns everything except our obedience.105 He made us with free will, free moral agents. Obedience is ours to give.106 When we obey; it is more valuable to Him than any sacrifice we could offer Him. Obedience is an identifying mark of true Christians.
7. Why Do Jehovah's Witness consider themselves NO PART of Christendom?
Christendom is a religious system that professes to be Christian and the dominant part of Babylon the Great. Christendom consists of numerous denominations, sects, and divisions that holds to a set of beliefs fundamental to Christendom.107 They include the Crucifixion, worship of a Godhead, Hellfire doctrine, Christmas, Immortal Soul, Cross held in honor/venerated, the physical resurrection of Christ, and Easter with a few of her member churches differing in one or two of these beliefs. From its inception Christendom was not Christian.108 Its teachings and deeds were not of God.109 A Christian church that refuses to go along with Christendom’s apostate beliefs is considered non-Christian by Christendom. It is Christendom, which is not Christian. Christendom’s Babylonish way of worship [trinity or triads of Gods, use of images in worship(e.g., crucifix), ruled by a powerful priesthood (clergy-class), pagan rites(e.g., hot cross buns, dyed eggs of Pasch), spiritism, and the belief the soul survives death(immortal soul)] is not acceptable to God.110 It is far below God’s righteous standards. The true Christian church is not a part of Christendom.__ John 4:24
What is Babylon the Great: Unclean worship spread from ancient Babylon until it held harmful spiritual dominion over people earth wide. ‘Babylon the Great’ embraces all religions, whose doctrines and practices are out of harmony with the knowledge of God.111 These include: Christendom (apostate Christian world); Pagandom/heathendom (false gods), Judaism (denies Christ), *Nationalism/Civil religion (requires worship from its citizens).
Noteworthy Similarities between Judaism and Christendom:
JUDAISM: Religious Symbol - The Star of David
Judaism is an apostate religious system comprised of many different
movements that adhere to the Old Covenant
Judaism is an offshoot of the old religion of the Jews
Politicians wield great power over Rabbi’s e.g., making priestly
appointments, influence Rabbi’s interpretation of the Torah
Adherents of two prominent branches of Judaism [Pharisees, Sadducees]
were called sects
Judaism fail to accept Jesus [there is not another name under the sun by
which man might get saved__Acts 4:12]
Some sects of Judaism believe they are also under the New Covenant
House of worship called a Synagogue
Anti-Christ Beliefs- Jesus is not the messiah, Circumcision, forbid the utterance of God's name etc.
***The Way-the religion of 1st Century Christians was no part of Judaism-they deny fundamental tenets of Judaism
CHRISTENDOM: Religious Symbol - The Cross
Christendom is an apostate religious system comprised of many different
religions that adhere to the New Covenant
Christendom is and offshoot of sects that broke from The Way
Politicians wield great power over clergymen e.g., making priestly
appointments, influence clergy’s interpretation of the bible
Adherents of two prominent branches of Christendom [Catholicism and
Protestantism] are called sects
Christendom fail to obey Jesus [he is a source of salvation only to those
obeying him__Heb 5:9]
Some sects of Christendom believe they are also under the Old Covenant
House of worship called a church
Anti-Christ Beliefs- Trinity and Deity of Christ, Hellfire doctrine, Physical Resurrection of Christ, crucifixion etc.
***Jehovah’s Witnesses are no part of Christendom-they deny fundamental tenets of Christendom.
8. Why don't Jehovah's Witnesses Pledge their Allegiance to the Flag of their Country?
Because it is an idol- a sacred object of adoration. Jehovah Witnesses respect the flag but they do not give to it worshipful honors- they will not salute it or pledge allegiance to it.
Jehovah's Witnesses are not idoloclast [destroyers of idols]. They speak out against idols but they will not do physical harm to them. Jesus in due time will destroy all idols on earth by destroying idolaters, their way of living will go with them.
9. How do Jehovah's Witnesses reconcile not saluting the flag, and serving on jury duty?
Jehovah's Witnesses do neither. While they will judge those inside the congreation and remove the wicked ones from among themselves, they leave the juding of those outside the congregation to God. They will not judge them in a court of law or any place else.
10. Can Anybody Get Into the Kingdom of the Heavens?
No. Only those doing the Will of the Father will enter into the kingdom of the heavens. Mt. 7:21
11. If We Sin Everyday, Is There Anyone Righteous?
Yes. Jesus said there is more joy in heaven over one sinner that repents than over ninety-nine righteous ones who have no need of repentance. Since all men are by nature sinners, Jesus was evidently using these terms in a relative sense. (1 Ki 8:46a, Ps 51:5; 1Jo 1:8) Although Adams descendants can properly be termed “sinners” by nature, in the scriptures “sinners” usually applies in a more specific way, designating those who practice sin or who have a reputation for sinning (habitual sinners). __Insight on the Scriptures pg. 968
12. Any Sin can Become Unforgivable, so What Determines Whether a Sin is Unforgivable?
The motive, the heart condition, and the degree of willfulness.100 Both Peter and Judas committed grievous sins yet Peter was forgiven and Judas was not. It was because of Peter's motive, his heart condition, and the degree of willfulness
NOTE: Jesus death does not cover blasphemy against God’s holy spirit. Blasphemy against God’s holy spirit is blasphemy against God.
13. What is a Righteous Man?
A righteous man is one who worships Jehovah as God, exercise faith in Christ Jesus his Son, observe (obey) God's commandments and is faithful.
14. Can One Tell Whether a Religion is True or False by the Sort of Fruits it Produces?
Yes. False religions are false prophets and are compared to rotten trees producing worthless fruits. The true religion produces good fruits worthy of God's praise.
15. What is the Church and How Important is It?
The true Christian congregation is made up of two sheepfolds. One fold Jesus calls a Little Flock because they number only 144,000. The other fold is called a Great Crowd which number in the millions. Another name given to the fold that is called the Little Flock is the Church. The church provides spiritual guidance to the “the great crowd”—the other sheep.112 Members of the church will one day rule as kings and priests with Jesus from heaven. Find the remnant church (the remaining ones of the Little Flock) and you will find Jesus, for where the true church is there he will be. There are many false churches today. This site shows you how to recognize them.
16. Do You Believe Jesus is an Angel and Why?
Yes. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe Jesus is an angel, the Archangel Michael. The Archangel [Chief prince] stands alone he does not belong to any group of angels. (Dan 12:1 see also Dan 10:21, Jos 5:14, Isa:6) Why?
- Paul referred to Jesus as an angel of God. “ but you received me like an angel of God, like Christ Jesus. _Gal 4:14
- The command of Jesus Christ for the resurrection to begin is described as “the archangel’s call,” and Jude 9 says that the archangel is Michael. The voice expressing this commanding call cannot be described by a word that would diminish or detract from the great authority that Jesus now has as King of kings and Lord of lords. [the expression “archangel” is never found in the plural in the Scriptures, thus implying there is only one].113-114 1 Thes 4:16
- The angel of the abyss is king over the symbolic Locusts (righteous ones). There is only one angel in heaven who is also king over God’s people, Jesus Christ. All other angels are princes only, inferior in position to their brother Jesus, he being “Chief Prince” or “Great Prince” and king.___ Rev 9:3,4,5,11
- Jesus appeared in the O.T. as an angel, and at times appeared in his Father’s name.
- Joshua prostrated himself before an angel, a prince. There is only one angel that would allow God's people to do obeisance to him, his name is Jesus Christ. The other angels or princes would never allow God’s servants to prostrate or do obeisance to them. __Jos 5:13-15; Rev 22:8,9
- The angel going ahead of the camp of Israel at Exodus 14:19-22 is identified as Jesus at 1Co 10:1-4.
- The responsibilities of the Archangel Michael are identical to Jesus’: (1) he takes the lead in upholding Jehovah’s sovereignty and destroying God’s enemies (2) he takes action against Satan and his demons (3) he delivers God people out of the hands of their oppressors; (4) he is a great Vindicator. 115-116
Others who believe Jesus is called Michael the Archangel
- In contrast to Jehovah’s Witnesses who believe Jesus is an angel, the Archangel Michael (a messenger of high caliber) “...certain Protestants such as Seventh-day Adventist, the Baptist evangelist Charles Spurgeon and the Presbyterian Commentary author Matthew Henry, believed that the Archangel Michael is not an angel but is instead the uncreated, divine Son of God. In this view “archangel” means “head of angels” rather than ‘head angel,’ and is a title similar to ‘prince of host.’”__ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archangel
- Interestingly, men such as John and Charles Wesley founders of the Methodist faith believed Jesus to be a created being firstborn of the Seraphims, the highest group of angels. In John Wesley’s explanatory notes of Daniel 12: 1 he refers to Michael the great prince, as the Messiah, the Christ. www.christnotes.org/commentary
- The Catholic prayer, Litany of the Holy Name of Jesus reads: Jesus, angel of great counsel, have mercy on us..… Catholics also likely consider the term angel when applied to Jesus; descriptive, rather than his true nature [angels are created beings, messengers, princes]. Which is why they continue to worship him as God since to them he is not a created being. Since Jesus is his earthly name, what Catholics believe to be his personal name in heaven before coming to earth is unknown.
Trinitarians believe Jesus is called Son of God but is not truly a Son, called an angel but is not truly an angel, called a prince but is not truly a prince. .
17. Are Jehovah’s Witnesses Christians?
Yes. Christians are baptized disciples, footstep followers, of the greatest religious teacher who ever lived__Jesus Christ. It was in Syrian Antioch that 1st century disciples of Christ were by divine providence called Christians. In what way do Jehovah’s Witnesses follow Jesus footsteps closely?
- In imitation of Jesus disciples are sent out in twos; from house to house, from town to town, and into all the nations of the earth declaring the Good News of the Kingdom__ Lu 10:1; Mt 28:19,20
- Like Jesus they recognize Jehovah as the ONLY TRUE GOD and accept Jesus as the Messiah sent forth by Jehovah.__ Joh 17:3
- In imitation of Jesus they continue to make known the name of God (JeHoVaH)__ John 17:6
- They recognize they are under law towards the Christ and obediently subject themselves to such law.
- In imitation of Jesus they joyfully submit themselves to doing the Father’s Will even to the point of death.__ Php 2:8; Mt. 7:21; Lu 22:42
Apostate Christians also known as imitation and counterfeit Christians do not follow in Jesus footsteps.
18. Are Jehovah’s Witnesses a Protestant Faith?
No. Jehovah’s Witnesses consider Protestants, Catholics, and Mormons apostates; Christians who’ve abandon true worship. Jehovah’s Witnesses are not Protestants because they were not a part of the Protestant Reformation nor are they a sect of the Catholic church as are Protestants. Neither do they hold to the tenets of any Protestant faith as Non-denominational Protestants do [ e.g., Trinity and deity of Christ, Crucifixion, Physical bodily resurrection of Christ, the 2nd coming of Christ to set up his kingdom on earth, salvation by grace alone]. Jehovah’s Witnesses are Christians but are dissimilar to other Christian faiths. There are four distinct faiths which hold to very distinct tenets in Christianity. They are: Protestants, Catholics, Mormons, and Jehovah’s Witnesses. The latter two often referred to as cults because their teachings are said to be “unorthodox”. Mormons want so badly to be a part of Christendom that they have changed their concept of God to the trinity just so they can fit in. Jehovah’s Witnesses are not a cult and want no part of Christendom. Of the four, Jehovah’s Witnesses are the only Christian faith that does not have divisions which is an identifying mark of the truth faith.
19. Are Jehovah’s Witnesses Polytheist?
No. Jehovah’s Witnesses worship only Jehovah as God. This is in sharp contrast to Binitarians and Trinitarians who worship 1 and 2 other gods respectively in addition to Jehovah God. They have broken Jehovah’s command: “You must not have any other gods against my face.” “To whom will you people liken me or make [me] equal or compare me that we may resemble each other?” says Jehovah. Jehovah is without like or equal.117 Binitarians and Trinitarians worship a plural God whereas the God of Jehovah’s Witnesses is singular_ One Almighty God Person.__ Ex. 20:3; Isa.46:5; Ps 89:6; Acts 17:29,30
Jehovah’s Witnesses believe there are many that are called gods in heaven and on earth because that is what the Bible says. (see 1 Co 8:5,6; Ps 82:1) However they are aware that Jehovah is the Only true God and that those called gods are not true gods. For example:
- Jehovah is the True God by reason of:

1)His creatorship - Out of Him are all things

2)He is Unbegotten, Uncreated, Self-existent, the 1st

Cause. Before him there was no god formed and after

him there continues to be none!
Those called gods are not true gods for the same reasons Jehovah is truly God. The "G" in the word God is ALWAYS in capital letter when refering to Jehovah which is not the case for those called gods.
- Jesus is called a god- "His pre-eminent position among God's creation as firstborn the one through whom God created all (other) things, and as God's spokesman gives basis for him being called a god."
- Satan is called a god at 2 Co 4:4 because of his dominance over men and demons. Satan is a false god because he sets himself up to receive religious worship unlike Jesus who directed all religious worship to God._ Lu 4:6-8
- God call angels gods because they are mighty ones possessing divine nature (godlike nature), they are superhuman in power.
- God acknowledge idol gods (false gods), as gods, because humans give to them religious worship. For example: Dagon, Zeus, Shiva, and man-made images._ Ex 12:12
- God call mighty ones among men (e.g. Jesus, Moses, Judges of Israel) "Gods", because they act as his spokesmen._ Ex 7:1
- Humans who set themselves up as gods are called false gods (e.g. Popes)
But Don't Jehovah’s Witnesses Worship Two Gods: One Almighty God (Jehovah) and one mighty god (Jesus)?
No. Only Jehovah is worshiped. Jehovah's Witnesses do not worship God's Son (Jesus Christ) or God's finger (the holy spirit).__ Lu 11:20; Ex 8:19
20. Are Jehovah’s Witnesses Unitarians?
No. Jehovah’s Witnesses are UNI- in their concept of God in that they worship only Jehovah as God (as oppose to BINI- who worship Jehovah and Jesus as God and TRINI- who worship Jehovah, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as God) however they do not ascribe to the teachings of the Unitarian churches for they hold to a set of beliefs Jehovah’s Witnesses consider apostasy.
21. Did Jehovah’s Witnesses branch from Millerite and Adventists Movements?
No. Jehovah’s Witnesses are not an offshoot of some church but include persons from all walks of life and from many religious backgrounds.118 Neither do they look to any human, but rather to Jesus Christ, as their leader.119 Religions that branch from Adventist Movements are: 2nd Adventist [Advent Christian Church]; 7th Day Adventist; and Church of God General Conference.
22. Is it True Jehovah’s Witnesses are not Sure of Their Salvation?
False. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe they are saved. However, each of them has to keeping making their calling and choosing sure ___by staying in union with Christ. (2 Pet 1:10) If any member should fall out of union [are in a disapprove state] with Christ and remain out of union with him and die in that state, he will not be saved. (Heb 10:27; Lu 19:27; Mr 3:29) Thus, Jehovah’s Witnesses believe their final salvation is not assured until death—because in death one’s fate is sealed—a dead man cannot repent. Once saved always saved would only apply to members who once they were saved, stay in union with Christ right up to the day they die, and this is so for many Jehovah’s Witnesses but not all. Some who fall away from their faith [e.g. grow weary or are disfellowshiped] are able to be revived, some cannot be revived [e.g., they blaspheme the holy spirit or want no part of their former faith]. Once saved always saved yes, for some members no, for others._Mt 12:31
23. Is Water Baptism a Necessary Requirement for Salvation and if Yes, why?
Yes. Because Jesus commanded his disciples to go and make disciples baptizing them in his Father’s name, his name, as well as the name of the holy spirit and Jesus’ commands must be obeyed. 2) A person who associates with Christians is not considered Christian until he or she gets baptized into the Christian faith; children of baptized parents are the exception. 3) It is through baptism in the Father’s name and the Son’s name that one sincerely show they accept both Father and Son. Thus, since Jews on a whole deny Jesus by getting baptized in Jesus’ name they openly acknowledge Jesus as the messiah sent by Jehovah and also as Jehovah’s Son which will save them. The same applies to imitation Christians who deny the Father Jehovah, by getting baptized in Jehovah’s name they openly acknowledge Jehovah as; the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, Almighty God, the Creator, the principal source of their salvation, and a distinct and separate being from Jesus his Son which will save them. 4) It is also through baptism that individuals make a request to Jehovah God for a clean conscience which will save them.
24. Are All True Servants of God Required to Possess Holiness as a Quality (purity or perfection in one’s personal conduct)?
Yes. One of God’s divine qualities is holiness (cleanness). There is an old saying: Cleanliness is next to godliness. The opposite is also true; uncleanness is next to ungodliness.
- Spiritually – their worship must be clean from paganism, idolatry, spiritism, religious lies, doctrines of demons etc.
- Morally – they must stop practicing things that are morally wrong; e.g., bloodguilty, fornication, sodomy, adultery, stealing, etc.
- Physically – they must wash their bodies; clean car, home; abstain from sex sins, etc.
- Mentally – they must keep their minds clean from; obscene jesting, foul language, lusting for the same sex, etc.
Think about it- Would God set side unclean Christians for sacred service? “Saints” are holy because they receive holiness by faith in the ransom sacrifice of Christ and are set aside for sacred service [on earth-the gathering of the great crowd and in heaven-ruling over humans and demons] but they must also possess holiness as a quality.
Noteworthy: All righteous people are holy but not all holy people are “saints”(“born again”).
25. Was Jesus a Man or a god-man?
A man – The Word (the begotten god) became flesh. Jehovah God by means of his holy spirit fertilized an egg cell in Mary’s womb by transferal of the life of his begotten Son Jesus from the spirit realm to the earth.120 The result- Mary gave birth to a human child who, prior to Mary conceiving him was a god in heaven. For the 33 and ½ years Jesus lived on the earth he was 100% man.
A god-man – Jesus was raised as a immortal spirit person then materialize various fleshly bodies to suit the occasion for the purpose of giving his disciples visible, palpable evidence of his resurrection.121 And for the 40 days he showed himself to his disciples as well as others he was a god appearing as a man, like the three angels who appeared to Abraham and Sarah before going on to Sodom. They were gods appearing as men. They were not truly human. Luke 24:39
26. Is Jesus Just a Prophet?
No. Jesus is also: a missionary-because he was sent from heaven to earth to bear witness to the truth, a King, a High Priest, the Messiah, Savior, Lord, a god, and Son of the Most High God Jehovah.
27. Do Jehovah’s Witnesses believe it is a sin to Worship Jesus?
Yes. It is idolatry. Jesus is an angel and angels are not to be worshiped.
Worship define: The rendering of reverent honor or homage
Jehovah’s Witnesses believe only Almighty God [Jehovah], the one who begot Jesus and created the angels should be worshiped. They venerate and render sacred service to Jehovah alone. The worship of angels (godlike ones) is idolatry.
Most Hebrew and Greek words that can denote worship can also be applied to acts other than worship.121b However, the context determines in what way the respective words are to be understood.121c Examples of such words includes: "serve", "bow down", "obeisance", "prostrate oneself" "venerate", "revere".
For example, in places where angels and humans did obeisance to Jesus the context applies to acts other than worship...acts of respect or of courteous regard towards another person...such as a slave doing obeisance to a king. At Acts 10:25,26 where Cornelius did obeisance to Peter the context applies to worship which only God can receive. Apparently Cornelius doing obeisance to Peter was more than just an act of courteous regard towards another person. It was idolatry. That is why Peter replied, "Rise, for I myself am just a man." Peter being a prominent apostle could have led some to idolize him. Most Christians agree that only God should receive worship. Our dispute lies with who is God. While many believe God is plural, a trinity of beings, Jehovah's Witnesses believe God is singular, one spirit being. Since to Jehovah's Witnesses Jesus is not God where the word obeisance appears it must be in a non-religious sence. Trinitarians on the other hand will apply a religious sense to it.
28. Who are the 144,000?
“Saints”, Christians who are "Born Again". Jehovah’s Witnesses believe there are only 144,000 “saints”, Christians who are “born again”. Since “saints” are the only ones who go to heaven---only 144,000 will go to heaven. First century Christians are also a part of that number so they believe only a remnant of that number remains on earth. The 144,000 are also called: The Israel of God (Spiritual Israel), the Church, Congregation of the 1st born enrolled in the heavens, the Bride, the Lamb’s wife, the Little Flock, New Jerusalem, and the body of Christ.125
29. How do Jehovah Witnesses members know which sheepfold they belong to: The Little Flock (the 144,000) -OR -the Great Crowd?
Accurate knowledge along with God’s holy spirit. E.g., Many who were taught that heaven is the home for all believers after learning about the wonderful things God has in store for the earth no longer want to go to heaven. Nor do they want to rule as kings and priests—these belong to the Great Crowd.
30. Do Jehovah’s Witnesses believe in Hell?
Yes. However their concept of hell is different. They believe hell is mankind’s common grave. They believe the dead in hell rot, they do not believe they burn in a fire.
31. What Reasons do Jehovah's Witnesses have for denying the personhood of the holy spirit (the finger of God)?
a) Its association with impersonal things - Its association with such things as water and fire (Mt 3:11; Mr 1:8) and Christians are spoken of as being baptized "in holy spirit".126 Persons are urged to become “filled with spirit” instead of with wine.127 Persons are spoken of as being filled with it along with such qualities as wisdom and faith.128 It is unlikely that that such expressions would be made if the holy spirit were a divine person. 129
b) It lacks personal relationship- All spirit persons have a personal relationship to God and have personal names. Angels are sons of God. Jesus is the begotten Son of God. If the holy spirit is a divine person what is its personal relationship to God? And what is its personal name?
c) Personification does not prove personality- The bible speaks of ones who "grieve," "play false to," or "lie to," the holy spirit.
Jesus spoke of the holy spirit as a "helper" and spoke of such helper as "teaching," "guiding," "speaking," hearing," and "receiving."130 However it is not unusual for something that is not actually a person to be personalized or personified.131 Wisdom is said to have “works “ and “children.” Paul speaks of sin as "receiving an inducement," "working out covetousness” "seducing," "killing."132 Yet it is obvious Paul did not mean that sin was actually a person.133 While some texts refer to the spirit as 'witnessing,’ ‘speaking,' or ‘saying things,' other texts make clear that it spoke through persons, having no personal voice of its own.134 As to the spirit bearing witness the same thing is said of water and blood. 135 1 John 5:6-8
d) Its appearance- When the spirit appears it is either as a dove, tongues of fire, a cloud, but never as a person.
32. Do Jehovah’s Witnesses believe in the doctrine of The 2nd Coming of Christ?
No. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that Jesus first visit to the earth over 2,000 years ago was also his last visit. There will be no second visit. Any mention of coming(s) and there are a few should not be construed to mean Jesus will once again appear on earth. [Mt. 24:3; Mt 24:44; Rev 1:7; Joh 14:2, 3; 1 Thes 4:16, 17; 1 Thes 1:7, 8]. They believe the Scripture in Mt 24:3 refers to the royal presence pa.rou.si’a of Jesus Christ since his enthronement as king which covers a period of time and not to an actual second coming.136 (See Mt 24:37-39) Simply put, from heaven they believe Jesus has begun ruling as king and as turned his attention towards the earth similar to what his Father did in bible times. (Compare Ex. 25:22 and Joh 1:18; compare 1 Ki 8:10-13, 27-30 and Ac 7:45-50) God has the power to ‘be present’ on earth in a spiritual (hence, invisible) way while He yet remains in heaven.137 Jehovah’s Witnesses believe Jesus also has that ability.
33. How Do you Respond to Accusations of Jehovah’s Witnesses Changes in Teachings (flip-flops)? *See rotten fruits 26 –which list reasons for changes in teachings
As clay vessels true Christians are required to be pliable. Jesus parable of the sewer and the seed found at Luke 8:6,13 is applicable to Jehovah’s Witnesses who leave their religion because of doctrinal changes, or repeated revisions on certain issues. Because they are weak they find it hard to adjust and are stumbled (lose faith). These ones fail to realize “saints” are imperfect humans with human weaknesses. Some, like Peter [Cephas] and other “saints” in the 1st century may well have an indecisive spirit, such as the need to please those around them, and seemingly vacillating on certain matters relating to the faith. (Mt 26: 57,58, 69-75; Gal 2:11-14) This however did not make the “saints” of the 1st century false nor does it make the “saints” of the Last Days false. Furthermore, could Jehovah God not allow a true prophet [religion] to be indecisive on certain issues, yet the overall religion is good and teaches the people to render sacred service to Him and only Him? Yes. Flip-flops when looked at positively can either be a result of increased knowledge or a test put there by God to see whether His people are truly loving him with their whole heart and whole soul. Or will they leave him and follow false prophets who deceitfully use what may [or *may not] be a shortcoming of some of the “saints” to get believers to walk after a strange god, a triune god, or Christendom’s many other gods and serve them? (Deut 13:1-3) Or will they leave and not worship him at all…since there is no other religion with similar teachings to Jehovah’s people. Is this truly loving one’s God? (Jo 6:60, 61, 66-69) For example:
Issue of voting---position now
— A Christian may if his conscience allows. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe in being neutral in the affairs of the world, though they are in the world, they are no part of it (its affairs). However in some lands Jehovah’s Witnesses have lost their lands and businesses for not having a party card (Africa) in other lands they are tax along with others who refuse to vote (Australia), while some women married to unbelieving mates who pressure them to vote. Because of this, the decision was made that a Christian may, if his conscience allows, choose to vote and should not be judged by other members. Let Jehovah be the judge. Jehovah’s Witnesses living in lands where it is compulsory to vote…. are advised to vote for God’s kingdom and Christ as king, that way they still remain neutral not taking sides with any political party.
Cesar wants citizens to vote; Jesus wants his disciples to be no part of the affairs of the kingdoms of the world as he was no part of it. A Christian favoring one political party over another is not neutral. Jehovah’s Witness choose to obey Jesus as king rather than Cesar. What Jesus wants of his disciples’ overrides what Cesar wants of them. Also God would never get angry with Christians who refuse to vote for lawlessness. The vast majority of witnesses do not vote.
Will the men of Sodom be raised?---position now
—No. Jesus speech is an example of hyperbole (exaggerated speech) when he said it would be more endurable for the land of Sodom and Tyre than for the city of Capernaum on judgment day.
34. Aren’t Jehovah’s Witnesses Bloodguilty?
No. Those who accuse Jehovah’s Witnesses of bloodguilt do so because of members who have perished obeying the holy spirit and the apostles command to abstain from blood. With the advancement of modern technology products have now become available that mimics blood [blood substitutes] that Jehovah’s Witnesses can accept and which saves lives. But what of those who died before this technology was available, was their death not in vain? No. They died obeying God. Christians who join the world and die fighting in world wars and conflicts are the ones who died in vain...they died disobeying Christ…to be no part of the world as he was no part of it. Jesus can only save those who obey him.
35. What is a "Pago" Christian?
Pago Christians a.k.a. pagan Christians--refer to Christians whose worship is combined with pagan teachings, rites, and tradtions/customs. At first glance they appear Christian but a close look, or when the Christian is peeled away the pagan can clearly be seen. Pago Christians will use the name of "Saints" to continue to worship their pagan deities, they will continue their pagan traditions by disguising it under the name of someone in Christianity. They will take Christian teachings and blend them with pagan teachings/philosophies e.g., the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit they combine to form a trinity...the trinity is a popular concept of pagan deities. Most of those who call themselves Christians can properly be called Pago Christians.
36. Why do Jehovah’s Witnesses not attend the Worship Service of other Christians?
Because they will not sit with men of untruth, ...they hate the congregation of evildoers and with the wicked ones they do not sit. (Ps 26:4-6; 1 Cor 15:33) Jehovah’s Witnesses can if they chose to, attend a funeral or wedding of a close acquaintance or a loved one/a close relative. In this case, some will prefer to go to the marriage reception and the burial ground rather than the church. Others if their conscience allows may opt to go inside the church to view the body but wait in the car until the service is over and everyone heads for the burial ground. Also some Jehovah’s Witnesses are photographers and maybe hired to take pictures of a wedding ceremony inside a church or a synagogue. Jehovah’s Witnesses who attend the worship service of other Christians would not be disfellowshiped but would be counseled against bad association – for light has no sharing with darkness. Most however, after coming to an accurate knowledge of the truth do not want to mingle with those in false religions.
37. What Must I Do to Be Saved? You will need
- Allegiance to God.138 Soon God’s kingdom will crush Satan’s Kingdoms and all their supporters so it can rule in peace. Is your allegiance to God and his kingdom or to one of Satan’s kingdoms of the world?
- Righteousness, through obedience to God’s morality139 It is not the hearers who are declared righteous; it is the doers that are declared righteous. Become a DOER of God’s Word and not a hearer only. Do not be deceived by the teachings of apostates who claim: “works of obedience takes away from the ‘complete work of the cross,’” or “obedience is not a part of the salvation plan” or “only dead faith (faith apart from works) is needed in order to be saved”. Many apostates deny works because they feel if a man lives a faithful and virtuous life it creates the sense of having earned salvation. They will misinterpret certain scriptures to back up their false assumption. Jas 2:26; Rom 2:13
- Knowledge.140 Not just any knowledge but accurate knowledge. God MUST be worshiped in truth. If God is not worshiped in TRUTH your worship is in vain.__ Joh 17:3; Jo 4:24; Eph 4:13; 1 Ti 6:20
In answer to the above question, you will need to be a part of the true religion. The true Christian religion is a symbolic A.R.K.141 It will provide protection from God’s impending destruction. (Zep 1:18) Like Noah’s ARK the symbolic A.R.K. [the true Christian religion] does not contain multiple families (each Christian faith is a different spiritual family). It contains only one small spiritual family--the family that built it. Acts 15:14
Noteworthy: Each of God’s mass destruction resulted in the survival of only one small family. In Noah’s Day only one small family of 8 survived; Sodom and Gomorrah only one small family of 3 survived. History always repeats itself___ Matt 7:13,14
“Exert yourself vigorously [against sin’s law and false teachings] to get in through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will seek to get in but will not be able.” __ Lu 13:24; Matt 7:14; see Rom 7:15-25; Rom 8: 12,13; 1Pet 2:11; Jas 4:1, 2
