29. THEY TEACH NOT WHAT COMES FROM GOD
“Keep your eyes open and watch out for the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees…. Then they grasped that he said to watch out, not for the leaven of the loaves, but for the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Mat 16:6, 12; Mt 15:3,9; 1 Tim 4:1-5; Acts 28:26, 27
“Everyone that pushes ahead and does not remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God… If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, never receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him. For he that says a greeting to him is a sharer in his wicked works (sins).” 2 Jo 9-11; 1Tim 5:22
Because they are not guided by God’s holy spirit apostates make a host of errors when interpreting the bible, for example:
- Ignoring Grammar Rules – E.g. “It is written, ‘My house will be a house of…’” (a double quote) is misinterpreted to mean the temple in Jerusalem is Jesus’ house.
- Changing the Meaning of Words – E.g. Begotten means not made but only when it refers to Jesus
- Taking Symbolic and Figurative Sections of the Bible Literally – E.g. The parable of Lazarus and the rich man
- Taking Verses out of Context – E.g. Taking Jo 20:28 out of context - they believe Thomas called Jesus his God—yet in another passage of the bible a man called Jesus Good Teacher and he was rebuked. Which is the more superior title?
- Ignoring Literary Analysis – E.g. Chronological order vs. Narrative order- were animals created first or was man?
- Use of Translations that Mistranslate certain Passages – E.g. “Saints” should have the same mind as Christ and think it not robbery to be equal to God.
- Ignoring basic Logic – E.g. If “The Word "(Jesus) was with God, logic says the Word is distinct from, and is not God.
- Misunderstanding of the word through -

1)One Lord (Jesus) through whom are all (other) things is

interpreted to mean Jesus is the Creator, Designer.

2)Glorify God through Jesus is interpreted to mean

Christians are to worship Jesus.

3)Salvation is through Jesus is interpreted to mean Jesus is

the source of salvation
- Interpreting the scriptures around spiritistic and pagan beliefs

e.g. Hell- in Hebrew [sheol] the language of God's first

people means something different in Greek [hades] the

language of pagans; the spirit medium of Endor; the

astrologers/Magis who visited the child Jesus
- Holding to interpretations that has the Infallible Word of God contradicting itself

1)The bible says at no time has any man ever seen God, yet

they believe God appeared to humans in the Old Testament

and New Testament.

2) The bible says the dead are conscious of nothing, yet they

believe the Rich man and Lazarus is not a parable, that it is

real, and the dead conscious.
- Putting preconceived theology into bible texts e.g., John 1:1; 1 Tim 3:16; 1 Jo 5; Joh 8:58 (See bad fruit # 4D)

_____Some of the information in list of False Teachings and Doctrines Found in Christendom's churches were taken from religious websites, and television evangelist who believe these false teachings.
30. THEY ARE GUILTY OF BLASPHEMY
"To whom will you people liken me or make [me] equal or compare me that we may resemble each other." Isa 46:5; Ac 17:29; Ps 113:5; Isa 40:25
Over 2,000 years ago Jewish religious leaders falsely accuse Jesus of blasphemy--- trying to make himself equal to God. Jesus denied being God, and showed himself to be a separate person from God when he said, "Why do you call me good? No one is good except one, God." (Luk 18:19) Although Jesus is good he knew that no one (not even he) is as good as God is. Most Christians today do not believe Jesus was trying to make himself equal to God a charge for which Jesus was put to death. They believe he is equal to God and is God. They are guilty of blasphemy against Jehovah God. Another blasphemous doctrine is the belief that Mary is the Mother of God.
Just as acknowledging Jesus is essential to true worship, knowing who God is, is also essential, and is a major factor in identifying false Christian religions. Why? A false interpretation of God will affect one’s entire way of worship. God must be worshiped in truth, otherwise one’s worship is in vain. (Jo 17:3) Within Christianity there are many different concepts of God; these concepts vary from sect to sect with most worshiping Jesus. All are teachings of demons, with the exception of one- the truth, taught by the true Christian church. The false beliefs about God in the Christian world are as follows:
False Concepts of God in Christendom
1)Trinitarianism- Worship a Godhead of 3 members
- A common, plural, and compound God - consisting of 3 Almighty God Persons
- God's Son the Archangel Michael (aka Jesus) is worshiped as the 2nd Person in the Godhead; while God's finger (aka the holy spirit) is worshiped as the 3rd person in the Godhead. Gal 4:14, Col 2:18, Lu 11:20
- The Trinity is the most popular belief in Christendom.
- There are at least 3 versions of the Trinity:
Version 1: Modalism (Trinity of Manifestation) - Godhead consist of 3 indistinct and inseparable modes or personalities of the 1 God; They deny the distinctness of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; Jehovah God (mistaken for Jesus) is defined as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. E.g. Pentecostal
Some Modalist believe only one mode can appear at a time, others believe more than one can appear at the same time. [e.g. the Holy Spirit appearing as a dove at Jesus baptism]
Version 2: Tritheism (Trinity of Being) - Godhead consist of 3 distinct and separate Almighty Persons; each person is God. These three Almighty God Persons are 1 in purpose only, thus one God. A composite God. E.g. LDS, some 7th Day Adventist
Version 3: Tri-Monotheist (Trinity of Being)- Godhead consisting of 3 distinct and inseparable Almighty Persons; each person is God. These three Almighty God Persons are 1 in purpose and substance, thus one God. E.g. Catholics, and many protestants -Methodist, Presbyterians, 7th Day Adventist, Anglicans, Baptist, Church of Christ, Episcopalians, Lutherans, Assemblies of God, World Wide Church of God
2)Binitarianism- Worship a Godhead of 2 members
- A common, plural, and compound God- consisting of 2 Almighty God Persons
- The Archangel Michael (aka Jesus) is worshiped as the 2nd Person in the Godhead. Gal 4:14, Col 2:18
- They believe the Holy Spirit is God's Power.
- Some Binitarians believe that only the Father should be worshiped. However, since Jesus asked for the same honor given to the Father, they believe he meant he [Jesus] should also be worshiped. Binitarians do not worship God’s Holy Spirit. E.g United Church of God, Church of God -7th day, Living Church of God, Church of God International
3)Unitarianism – Worship God
- Biblical Unitarians- Deny the existence or distinctness of the holy spirit ,believe the Holy Spirit is another name for Jehovah God.
- Rational Unitarians - Deny Jesus is the Son of God, believe Jesus is only a good man
- Evangelical Unitarians - E.g., Christadelphians, Christian Science , Arian Catholicism - Depending on the faith they believe the Holy Spirit is God's power; deny Jesus pre-existence in heaven; believe Jesus was inhabited by Jehovah at birth; or Joseph fathered Jesus
- Unitarian Universalist - Varies in beliefs: theist, humanist, liberal Christians, atheist and agnostics ; Do not truly hold to one specific belief of God but call themselves Unitarians nonetheless
The 1st century teaching of God taught by the apostles is not among these teachings. Clergymen who teach the trinity consider it an incomprehensible dogma, a mystery. Some even call the trinity, a paradox. One clergyman said of the trinity: “if you try to understand it you’ll lose your mind, if you deny it you’ll lose your salvation.” In other words, if you do not want to lose your mind or your salvation just accept the trinity without trying to understand it. Another Trinitarian says of the trinity “The most difficult thing about the Christian concept of the Trinity is that there is no way to adequately explain it. The Trinity is a concept that is impossible for any human being to fully understand, let alone explain... However, this does not mean it is not true or not based on the teachings of the Bible” The trinitarian God it seems is an irreconcilable paradox, as one clergyman who believes in the doctrine puts it “it is a spirit thing that is best just to accept without trying to understand.” It is apparent from the words of Christendom’s clergy they worship what they do not know. (Jo 4:22) Observers of the trinity view it as nothing more than polytheism with a monotheistic emphasis. Trinitarians deceive themselves with false reasoning, reasoning so absurd that many who accept the doctrine also have doubts as to its trueness.
A. God’s Personal Name and the Trinity: What Jesus taught vs. What Trinitarians teach
At John 17:3 Jesus in prayer to his Father referred to him as the “Only True God”. The name of the Father is Jehovah which is the personal name of God. Jesus’ concept of God is in line with the scriptures. Trinitarians on the other hand refer to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as the only true God and the personal name of the triune God is? Is it Jehovah Jesus? Or perhaps, Jehovah Jesus Holy Spirit like the Hindu triad of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva? Exactly which Bible book would one be able to find such odd names? A warning to the wise! Do not add a single thing to what is written in the Bible.
B. To Believe the Trinity One would have to ignore certain facts. For example:
- One would have to ignore the fact that Jesus is not eternally begotten, continually was, as men who speak lies marked in their conscience as with a branding iron have led others to believe. Eternally begotten is a man-made doctrine. The Bible never once referred to Jesus as eternally begotten.
- Ignore the true meaning of words such as: e.g., “Only-Begotten Son of God- the uniquely created Son of God. “Firstborn of all creation”- the first of God’s creations.
- Ignore the fact that Jesus is not self-existent: existing of or by itself and having no antecedent cause; unbegotten; uncreated
- Ignore grammar rules e.g., God sent his Son; The Word was with God; “..for I have not yet ascended to my Father…”
- Ignore the personal name of God [Jehovah]. Jehovah is the name the Father alone it does not include the Son Jesus or the holy spirit. [YLT Ex 6:3] “..and I appear unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty; as to My name Jehovah, I have not been known to them.”
- Ignore the fact that God never changes. In the Hebrew Scriptures it states [KJV-Ps 83:18] Jehovah Alone is Most High and [YLT-Isa 43:10] before Jehovah there was no God formed and after him there continued to be none.
- Ignore the fact that in both the Hebrew and Christian Greek Scriptures it states that at no time as any man ever seen God
- Ignore the fact that Jesus is a subordinate servant of God.
- Ignore the fact that God will not share his glory with anyone. Not even with Jesus his Son. Jesus own statement gives evidence to this fact. Jesus said, “My Father is greater than I.” The trinity has Almighty God Jehovah sharing his glory his holy spirit and Jesus his Son.
- Ignore the Bible’s statement that the head of the Christ is God. The heads in 1 Cor. 11:3 are superior in position, and power, *as well as time, and must be obeyed.
Noteworthy: *Who existed first, who was created for whom? Since woman exist because of man, the head of the woman is the man; since every man exist because of the Christ, the head of every man is the Christ; since Christ exist because of God Jehovah, the head of the Christ is God Jehovah…the creator of them all.__ 1 Tim 2:11-13; 1 Cor 11:8-10/ 1 Cor 1:15/1 Cor 8:6a
C. God’s Creations Testify against the Trinity:
Everything God creates is single. There are no 3-in-1 angels, 3-in-1 humans, or 3-in-1 animals. Were not angels and humans made in God’s image (created with the ability to worship) each a single individual, one person, one being? Should we not also expect God to be, one person, one being, as those made in his image? “Yes!” “Listen, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah.”
The vast majority of Christendom believes in some form of a trinity [3-in-1 concept of God]. This puts them in a very dangerous position because the trinity which violates the rules of grammar and distorts the meaning of words grossly misrepresent God, reducing him to a common or composite God made up of more than one Almighty God persons or spirits. (Jo 4:23, 24) The trinity which is of pagan origin, along with Christendom’s other wicked works [e.g., idolatry, pagan holidays, murders, removing God’s name from the Bible, interfaith, worldliness, lack respect for the house of worship, unbiblical doctrines and teachings, worship of the Wild Beast, not heeding Christ commands, etc.], has led to “a massive falling away from true worship”- the great apostasy foretold.
Most Christians are acquainted with God, but that does not mean they know him, or have an accurate knowledge of him, as can be seen from the different interpretations of God listed above. There are righteous people on earth who have the right concept of God and do God’s will. These are the ones who are knowing their God. (Dan 11:32) “What is popular is not always true and what is true is not always popular”
In summary, false Christian religions are on the broad road that leads to destruction because of:
•
Moral degradation
•
Spiritistic practices
•
Debasing idolatry
•
Apostate teachings
