One Lord, one faith.” (Eph. 4:5) When the apostle Paul under inspiration penned those words (~ 60-61 C.E.), there was but one Christian faith.1 Today we see a profusion of denominations, sects, and cults, that claim to be Christian, though they teach conflicting doctrines and hold to different standards of conduct.2 This has left many honest hearted individuals puzzled. This website will answer an important question asked by many Christians: ‘How can those belonging to false Christian religions be identified?’
"Keep your eyes open and watch out for the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”  (Mt 16:6)  [Leaven is used in the Bible to denote sin or corruption].3 “If your righteousness does not abound more than that of the Scribes and the Pharisees,” Jesus said, “You will by no means enter into the kingdom of the heavens.”  (Mt 15:9; Joh 7:24) Though the Scribes and Pharisees claim to be teachers and lovers of righteousness and outwardly indeed appear righteous to men they were not.  Jesus pronounced a series of woes upon them at Matthew 23:13-33 and Luke 11:42.-53.  They had a form of Godly devotion but proved false to its power. To gain entrance into God’s kingdom one’s righteousness must abound more that of the Scribes and Pharisees. Can one truly say the righteousness of the churches of Christendom abound more that of the Scribes and Pharisees?  The answer is emphatically, “No!” Their righteousness is far worse, for in addition to their own leaven they are thoroughly corrupted with the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.   They are modern day synagogues of Satan.
Jesus gave the key mark as to how one would be able to distinguish true Christians from false ones, saying:  “By their fruits [works] you will know them.”  (Mt 7:16, 20)  In like manner, the true Christian religion a true prophet that speaks God’s word and false Christian religions, false prophets that do not speak God’s word can be distinguished by their fruits.  Despite their claims of originating with God, religions that fail to act in righteousness do not originate with God nor do they represent Him.4   Instead, the Bible compares them to rotten trees that bring forth bad fruits.  (1 Jo 3:10-12)   A tree is known by its fruit. Every tree that bears bad fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.  (Mt 7:18,19) The following is a list of 30 bad fruits [ungodly actions and anti-Christ teachings] found in false Christian religions.
